Due to a pissing contest between Stream Licensing and ASCAP that either has no regard for small broadcasters like us or creates a dangerous environment that could end up costing us thousands of dollars (more likely a little bit of both), PARTY FM has ceased operations effective Monday July 31st, 2017 at 11:59pm.

See the second half of the article here regarding what happened (including comments from station owner SquigY0), or listen to SquigY0's play-by-play here with all of the exact emails that came through and why he decided it was best to close down.

Thanks to all that helped start PARTY FM over 10 years ago, and to those that made it the wild ride it's been since then. I wouldn't trade any of the lifelong friends (and enemies too) that I've made at this party!

Be advised that Party FM never was suitable for people under the age of 18, but always had the maturity of a 12 year old boy. SO GO FUCK YOURSELF! ARGUMENT WON!
